Saturday, June 15, 2024 -
7:30 am - We’ll meet near Alexandria, VA to head 2 hours to the river in Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia. Don’t worry, it’s not DEEP WV, just about 10 minutes from the Virginia border. Upon arrival, we’ll get our floaties and gear then head to where we’ll get in the river.
Once we get going, you can expect to chat with those around you, listen to music, drink some dranks if you’d like, and snack on some snacks. Depending on the swiftness of the water will determine how quickly we get back, if quicker than expected we’ll go again. About 90% of the river is shallow enough to stand in but everyone will have a life vest with their floatie.
